Please note that Westgate Street will be closed from 20:00 on Monday 20th March until 05:00 on Tuesday 21st March for road resurfacing and repair. During this time the following diversions and bus stop changes will apply to Cardiff Bus services:

baycar service 6: Journeys from Cardiff Bay will end at St. Mary Street and journeys to Cardiff Bay will start from St. Mary Street (Wyndham Arcade).  This will mean bus stops at Customhouse Street, lower Churchill Way, Station Terrace, Kingsway and Westgate Street will not be served.

Services 8, 9 and 9A:  Journeys towards Heath Hospital are not affected and will follow normal route and serve the usual bus stops.  Journeys to Cardiff Bay or Sports Village will operate normal route as far as Newport Road then via Station Terrace, Bute Terrace, Customhouse Street, lower St. Mary Street (Philharmonic) then Wood Street and normal onwards route.

This will mean bus stops on Dumfries Place, Greyfriars Road, Kingsway and Westgate Street will not be served.  Please use either Station Terrace (outside Queen Street Railway Station) or St. Mary Street (Philharmonic).

Service X45:  Journeys towards St. Mellons are not affected and will follow normal route and serve the usual bus stops.  Journeys to Cardiff Bay Retail Park (ASDA) - Ferry Road) will operate normal route as far as Newport Road then via Station Terrace, Bute Terrace, Customhouse Street, lower St. Mary Street (Philharmonic) then Wood Street and normal onwards route.

This will mean bus stops on Dumfries Place, Greyfriars Road, Kingsway and Westgate Street will not be served.  Please use either Station Terrace (outside Queen Street Railway Station) or St. Mary Street (Philharmonic).

Services 13, 17, 18, 25, 61, 63, 64, 66 and 96A:  Journeys to the city centre will not serve Westgate Street and end at Wood Street (St. David's House).  Journeys from the city centre will start from Wood Street (St. David's House) and then return along Wood Street, Tudor Street and Clare Road to Cowbridge Road East.  This will mean bus stops on Westgate Street and Cardiff Bridge will not be served - please use Wood Street. 

Please use Wood Street JA for services 13 and 96A, Wood Street JC for services 25, 61, 63, 64 and 66 and Wood Street JD for services 17 and 18.

Services 21, 23 and 27:  To the city centre buses will set down at Castle Street in place of Westgate Street then via Cardiff Bridge. Lower Cathedral Road, Fitzhamon Embankment and Wood Street to either St. Mary Street for 21/23 or Havelock Street for 27.

Journeys to the city centre will start at their normal stops (21/23 St. Mary Street or 27 Havelock Street) then via Tudor Street, Clare Road, Lower Cathedral Road and Castle Street then back to normal route.  This will mean that there are no changes to outbound city centre bus stops.

Service 30:  Journeys to Cardiff are unchanged.  Journeys to Newport will start at Customhouse Street then via Wood Street, Tudor Street, Clare Road, Lower Cathedral Road and Castle Street then back to normal route.  This will mean that there are no changes to outbound city centre bus stops.

Services 11, 28B and 35:  Journeys to the city centre will enter the city via Station Terrace, Bute Terrace and Customhouse Street.  Return journeys will start at their usual place and follow normal route.  Please note service 35 will start from Bute Terrace and then call at Churchill Way not serving Westgate Street.

Services 44, 45, 49, 50, 52, 57 and 58:  Journeys to the city centre will enter the city via Station Terrace, Bute Terrace and Customhouse Street to lower Westgate Street (Royal Hotel).  outward journeys will start from here.  This will mean bus stops at Dumfries Place, Greyfriars Road, Kingsway and Castle Street will, not be served - please use Royal Hotel, Customhouse Street/Bute Terrace or Churchill Way.

Night buses 18 and 27:  These will follow the diversions listed above.
