As a result of road closures for the Cardiff Bay Triathlon, Cardiff Bus services baycar (6), 8, 9A, X45 and 91 will divert on Sunday 25th June from 06:30 until approx. 13:30.
Buses will divert as follows:
Baycar (service 6)
Journeys towards Cardiff Bay
From Wyndham Arcade, buses will divert via Customhouse Street, Bute Terrace, Adam Street, Central Link, Caspian Way, Pierhead Street where journeys will end.
Journeys towards the city centre
Journeys will begin at Pierhead Street and circle the roundabout outside the Pierhead Street car park before returning to the city centre via Pierhead Street, Caspian Way, Central Link, Adam Street, Mary Ann Street, David Street, Bridge Street and Guildford Street before returning to their normal route.
Bus stops at Porth Teigr, rear & front of the Wales Millennium Centre, and those on Lloyd George Avenue will not be served.
Services 8, 9A & X45
Journeys towards Cardiff Bay/Sports Village will follow their normal route to Clare Road then divert via Paget Street, Bromsgrove Street and Holmesdale Street to Grange Gardens where journeys will end.
Journeys towards the city centre will begin at Grange Gardens (Corporation Road) then divert via Corporation Road before returning to their normal routes at Clare Road.
Bus stops in Cardiff Bay and the Sports Village will not be served, along with bus stops on Avondale Road, Ferry Road, Channel View and Clive Street.
Service 91
Between St Mary Street in the city centre and Penarth Marina, buses will divert via Callaghan Square, Penarth Road and Barons Court in both directions.
Bus stops on Lloyd George Avenue and in Cardiff Bay will not be served.
