Westgate Street closure. Cardiff Bus sevices 17, 18 & 57 diversions.
Westgate Street will be closed from 23:00 on Wednesday 13th December until 05:30 on Thursday 14th December due to essential bollard maintenance work taking place. During this time the following buses will divert:
Services 17 & 18
Buses will depart from bus stop JD on Wood Street, then exit the city centre along Wood Street, Tudor Street, Clare Street returning to normal route on Cowbridge Road East. During this time the bus stops on Westgate Street (KL) and Cardiff Bridge (KR) will not be served. Customers are advised to use the bus stops at Wood Street (JD) or St. David's Hospital instead.
Service 57
The 04:53 service from Pontprennau on Thursday 14 December will follow normal route to Newport Road, then run along Station Terrace, Bute Terrace, Custom House Street, Lower St. Mary Street, Wood Street, Havelock Street and end it's journey at Royal Hotel. The bus stops on Dumfries Place, Greyfriars Road, Kingsway and Westgate Street will not be served by this journey.
The 05:22 service from Kingsway Hilton will start from Royal Hotel.
