On community transport services:

There can be no more than ten passengers on the bus at any one time.
All passengers must wear a face covering whilst travelling on the bus, otherwise they will not be permitted to enter the bus.
It is desirable that all passengers have their own hand sanitiser and apply before entering the bus. The driver will have a supply of hand sanitiser in the case of emergency.
Passengers will be directed to their allocated seat to adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Services will be resuming on Wednesday 1 July, providing coach travel across major towns and cities with a reduced timetable in place. More stops and services will be added onto the network as more people start to travel again. National Express will be:

When National Express services resume, their coach arrival and departure stop in Swansea City Centre will be on The Kingsway, opposite the NCP multi-storey car park. This replaces the temporary Wellington Street stop that was used until late March.

At the request of the Welsh Government to reduce bus services, NAT will be making the following changes from Sunday 24th January. This affects various services in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, Swansea, Powys and Pontypridd and the surrounding area.

The T7 Traws Hafren service will operate a reduced timetable from Sunday 17th January. This will mean no Sunday service and reduced service to every other hour Monday to Saturday.

From Sunday 29th of November, the route 30 will return to its normal route in and out of Cardiff following the re-opening of Castle street to buses and taxis. There will be no change to the timetable at present, only the route. The 30 service will then operate to and from Customshouse Street via Westgate Street, Castle Street and Greyfriars Road to re-join Newport Road.

Swansea Park & Ride will temporarily cease operating after Saturday 2nd January in light of the latest lockdown restrictions. Therefore, from Monday 4th January, First Cymru Services 9A and 9B will be suspended.
For w/c 4/1/2021, Service 34: short journeys between Landore P&R and the City Centre, and vice versa, won’t be operating. The journeys between Neath and Swansea, and vice versa, won’t be serving the Landore P&R site.

Transport for Wales will be re-introducing an Essential Travel Covid-19 timetable from 25th January until further notice in response to the tighter restrictions in place across Wales and England.

To support government’s public health priority which aims to reduce the number of people traveling, Transport for Wales will be making short notice changes and cancellations to services which means anyone making essential journeys should check before they travel.

To help with social distancing, the following stations will no longer be called at from Monday 7th September:

Cardiff Airport

As a vital part of the transport infrastructure in Wales it is essential that the Airport remains open for legitimate travel and air movements, as we have done throughout the pandemic, closely following guidance provided by the relevant authorities.

They have introduced a number of new measures to ensure the safety of their team and customers ahead of the start of flying in July:

1. Enhanced cleaning of the whole Airport throughout the day and night, plus a deep sanitisation before the terminal re-opens
2. More hand sanitiser stations added throughout the Airport
3. Social distancing for staff and customers, keeping 2m wherever possible
4. New protective screens in areas such as check in, boarding gates and immigration desks
5. Increased signage and floor markings to help everyone understand the changes to the Airport and remind everyone about the safety measures
6. Displays of all the relevant UK and Welsh Government advice and information
7. Introduced a team of ‘Airport Stewards’ to help customers with the changes throughout the terminal and to be on hand to answer any questions
8. All Airport teams are wearing appropriate PPE as required, including face coverings in all areas
9. We're asking passengers to wear face coverings when travelling through the Airport before they fly and when they land at Cardiff (Click here for Welsh Government Guidance on face coverings)
10. Encouraging contactless payments throughout the Airport where possible
11. Asking only customers and Cardiff Airport team to enter the terminal buildings
12. Training Airport teams about COVID-19 and the safety measures that have been put in place.

Flights between Cardiff and Anglesey now suspended until January 4th 2021 due Welsh essential travel restrictions.

All services will continue to remain subject to the Government's and other bodies latest advice for your travel safety, especially international or cross-border services where variations in travel requirements may differ or any period of quarantine required to be adhered to.

We will require all passengers to travel with face coverings and adhere to on-board hand sanitiser usage for their own peace-of-mind and to minimise impact on fellow travellers.

We shall suspend our normal complimentary cabin service, including hot & cold drinks and bar and snack range to minimise passenger contact other than for safety related requirements until advised otherwise.

Extensive safety measures including nightly aircraft sanitisation and turnaround cleaning will be in-place for the protection of all passengers and staff
