Maerdy Mountain Closure
Stagecoach Bus service 172 Aberdare connection
Until 1st October 2017
Due to the closure of Maerdy Mountain, there will be an a special shuttle bus 172C linking Aberdare with Tonypandy for connecting to the main 172 service. Stagecoach bus service 172 will operate Maerdy -Tonypandy - Bridgend - Porthcawl.
Passengers travelling to / from Aberdare will need to allow for a longer journey time and use 172C connecting at Tonypandy.
This closure will last several weeks during roadworks until the Maerdy Mountain road re-opens.
