Due to the current weather conditions:

  • Ysgol Bro Myrddin is closed
  • Service 224 will not be servicing Llanddowror or Meidrim on the first run this morning
  • Service 351 will not be covering Amroth on the first run this morning
  • Service 222 is operating as normal, however delays should be expected
  • Pembrokeshire College routes are running as normal
  • Greenhill routes are running, however Route 541 will not operate through Ludchurch

Additional route information:

  • Llanteg – services will only operate on the main road (unable to go around by the pond)
  • Route 541 – running through Templeton and Begelly, but not through Ludchurch
  • Route 542 – running through Llanteg (main road only)
  • Route 538 – operating through Jeffreyston, however expect delays

All services operating today may experience delays while our drivers take extra care in these conditions.

S2 - normal execpt Rhiwlas (Everyone in Deiniolen please walk to the school, cant turn around anywhere further down). Brynrefail also please walk to main road to catch the bus.
S3 Waunfawr to Caernarfon (the 9.20 run will go through to Beddgelert), Caernarfon to Deiniolen (Deiniolen please walk to school) (unable to service Penisarwaun on 1st run)
S4 Commencing 9am, although not up to Pen Y Pass, hoping the 10.30 Llanfrothen area should be ok. Hill down from Morfa to Port not great, so leaving it till 11ish.
G4 Commencing from Caernarfon 8.30am
G10 Unserviceable until mid morning at the earliest - will update asap
Anglesey routes as normal from 8.30am, 25 service as per normal timetable now.

Following Route Assessments, we have asked the Gwynedd drivers to come to the yard for 8am with the hope of starting services 8.30-9am.
Quite a few areas unserviceable due to Ice, but hopefully this will give it time to improve, and time for the Gritters to help.
Anglesey drivers will go to depot at 7.30 with the hope if starting services 8-8.30am.

S1, S2, S3 , S4, G4, G10, 23, 25, 36, 45, 48, 50, 54, 55.
Unfortunately all drivers have been informed to stay home at the moment - driving conditions in the area are atrocious, much worse than expected.
 
So far, drivers have phoned unable to come to work from the Penygroes area, Rhosgadfan, Deiniolen area, Bethesda area… so not looking good for the next couple of hours sorry.
We will re assess 7.30-8am and post here straight away
UPDATE 8am, 9am , 10am - still no change sorry. Will update again at 12.30

The 07.20 will run to Caernarfon and we will have assesed the route to see if the returrn leg runs through to Blaenau.

66 Fflecsi -  Due to weather conditions in and around Denbigh, our Fflecsi service will be running an extremely limited service until early afternoon. We will not be serving Henllan, Maes Y Dre, Gwaenynog Road, Love Lane, Bryn Garth. This list in not exclusive.
Please bear with us until the roads clear and safe access is possible.
76 Service -  Due to weather conditions, our 76 service bus is not currently running. We are hoping to start to service at 09:33 from Denbigh Morrisons, but this is again dependent on road conditions.
No.2 service -  We are hoping to start a limited service 2 at 10:30 from Mold toward Ruthin. We are currently unable to serve Maeshafn, Eryrys, Graianrhyd or Llanarmon yn Ial.

42 SERVICE UPDATE
Please be advised that the service is running late today due to some parts still being slippery so drivers will not be going at normal speed. Because of this there is the possibility that the 14:00 bus from Llangefni will be affected.
Any passengers from DWYRAN requiring a bus to Bangor or Llangefni, please go to the Bird World bus stop. The village of Dwyran itself is OK but from the Post Office up past Cemetery and beyond is very icy. Thank you for your patience in these very difficult conditions

Due to snow and/or ice causing slippery conditions, our services will be disrupted this morning.

We have assesed the T22 route this morning and have cancelled the following services 06.15 07.15 and the 08.15 from Blaenau Ffestiniog and will re assess the route at 08.00.

The 07.20 will run to Caernarfon and we will have assesed the route to see if the returrn leg runs through to Blaenau.
